Crá Croí — Irish for „heartache“ or „vexation of spirit“ — is a genre-defying duo from County Cork, Ireland. Fusing elements of 1980s wave, post-punk and related genres, their sound is marked by melancholic synths, dark melodies, clean and distorted guitars, and sharp, hook-laden vocals. Their songs are both catchy and existential, exploring themes like nihilism, love and destruction, nuclear dread, and dystopian collapse — often wrapped in irony and post-apocalyptic metaphors.Driven by a fiercely independent spirit, RG handles songwriting, production, mixing and mastering while CD delivers striking vocals and visuals, shaping Crá Croí’s brooding aesthetic. Each of their first five singles is accompanied by a music video, offering deeper insight into their stark, cinematic world.After releasing five stand-alone singles Crá Croí has already started to promote their debut full-length album Tá brón orm (release date: 30th of October 2026). Three singles off of the album will be made available online incl. accompanying videos on the 7th of August, the 4th of September and the 2nd of October 2026.
